Grain & Grit represents the passionate vision of founders Joe and Lindsey, who transformed their love for craft beer and community into Hamilton’s beloved neighborhood brewery seven years ago. What began as conversations over drinks about building something meaningful evolved into reality when Joe discovered his passion for home-brewing, finding joy in every aspect of the process from creation to sharing his experiments with family and friends. When they found their perfect space at 11 Ewen Road, the couple committed fully to their dream, with Joe leaving his job so they could build Grain & Grit from the ground up—literally handling everything from framing and plumbing to painting. Today, having brewed hundreds of experimental beers that continue to excite both brewers and community, Grain & Grit serves as more than just a brewery; it’s a testament to following passion and a gathering place where neighbors and friends can share great beer while fueling their own big ideas and dreams.
