    Seasonal festivals, wagon rides, a playground and corn trail, farm animals, barn market, café, bakery and gift shop make Springridge Farm the perfect place for a full day of fun. Time your visit with their harvest festival to celebrate the pumpkin crop! At Puddicombe Estate Farms and Winery you can pick-your-own apples, ride the farm train, or visit the children’s village and petting zoo. Bronte Creek Provincial Park‘s Children’s Playbarn is a 150-year-old barn that has been transformed into a huge children’s play loft for climbing and jumping.

    Have a foodie farm experience

    Pick your own fresh Ontario apples, enjoy a country lunch at the waterfall dining area and grab a fresh pie at the retail shop at Chudleigh’s Entertainment Farm. Experience a taste of rural life in Hamilton at the Farm Crawl in May, July and August. Each farmer organizes events and designs its activities around experiencing the farm’s operations.

    According to some of the top sources for foodie recommendations, there are many dining spots that make Hamilton Halton Brant worth the trip. Quatrefoil Restaurant in Dundas has contemporary French cuisine in a sophisticated environment; Hungry Hollow in Georgetown specializes in Southern-inspired barbecue; and Juniper Dining Co. in Paris features French Lyonnaise-inspired favourites.
