Formed in 1988, Brant Waterways Foundation invites you to be part of our annual fundraising gala festivities! Brant Waterways’ May fundraiser is a premier community event and a key source of funds pivotal to our ability to provide leadership and grants for community projects.
This year’s “FORKS ON THE GRAND” event is a celebration of the Grand River – named a Canadian Heritage River 30 years ago in 1994 – is the lifeblood that flows through our community and connects us with the splendors of nature. Taking place on Wednesday, May 15th at The Paris Beer Company the evening promises to be another outstanding event – featuring delicious food, live music by The Corduroys, and fantastic raffle and silent auction items!
Over $5 million dollars has been invested in the Brantford/Brant communities through Brant Waterways. The Foundation’s investments in creating and improving local biking and walking trails and river access points, as well as waterways restoration projects, have improved the environment and helped to develop local tourism.
Tickets are available on the foundation website at www.brantwaterways.ca and the ticket purchase and any donations made are eligible for a charitable receipt. This event sells out quickly, so be sure to get your tickets early to celebrate and protect our local waterways.
