Six Nations Tourism represents the tourism industry in the largest reserve by population in Canada. We work to provide informational and entertaining tours from an authentic indigenous lens.
Located just outside the Greater Golden Horseshoe, Six Nations Tourism, a proud department of the Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council, is a Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for the most populated First Nation in Canada. Six Nations Tourism is dedicated to educating visitors, marketing and promoting small businesses, events, sites, and promoting attractions in order to vitalize economic growth throughout Six Nations of the Grand River.
Under the direction of Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council the 1995 established Six Nations Tourism manages two historical sites and a park with cabin accommodations and river access within our community and is a Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for the most populated First Nation in Canada. Geographically located just outside the Greater Golden Horseshoe, in close proximity to major markets in Ontario with easy access to the 400 series highways, close to the USA border and major airports in Toronto and Hamilton. We are situated on the Grand River – a Canadian Heritage River which is synonymous with the rich history of the Six Nations and located within one of the last remaining Carolinian forests.
