Originally carved out of the Niagara Escarpment in 1919 in Hamilton, Glendale is a lovely but stern test of 6,400 yards over hill and dale and through majestic forests. Cheek by jowl to Hamilton Mountain, Glendale’s greens can befuddle players with the ‘escarpment affect’ in which seemingly flat putts break hard away from the mountain.
The regal clubhouse is relaxing and inviting for dining and provides all the functionality required for professional meetings.
Glendale has everything for the modern golfer: Up-to-date features and amenities, high service standards and a wonderful collection of holes with stories, history and the stately charm of an era long since past.
