Brantford Twin Valley Zoo offers an exciting and educational adventure!
Built on 25 beautiful acres in Brant County, Brantford Twin Valley Zoo is a great place to observe a collection of native and exotic animals maintained in natural surroundings. Since it’s inception in 1991, the goal of the Brantford Twin Valley Zoo has been to provide a place for families to enjoy the outdoors in a quiet and clean environment.
There’s no better way to learn about the wonderful animals of this world than to experience them up close and in person. During observation of the wide assortment of animals at the Zoo, children can learn about the animals’ adaptations (like the stripes on a zebra), needs (type of food they eat), and characteristics (fur or feathers). The Creature Showcase lets children experience some smaller animals and babies up-close. Knowledgeable Zoo staff explain how certain animals change as they grow, their natural habitats, and why they are important to that habitat.
Come visit the animals, bring along your lunch and enjoy our picnic area, and take a stroll on a short nature trail (less than 1km long) in our 5 acres of woodland.
