Watch Santa make his way through both Georgetown and Acton on November 15 with two festive parades in one day. The Acton Santa Claus Parade kicks off at 1:00 p.m., featuring floats, marching bands, and vintage Acton pedal cars as Santa travels through downtown. Later that evening, the Georgetown Lions Santa Claus Parade begins at 5:00 p.m., following a four-kilometre route along Guelph Street to the Georgetown Fairgrounds.

Light up the Hills – A Winter Tradition
Experience the magic as Halton Hills illuminates three locations for the season beginning December 1 with Ignition Night of the annual Light up the Hills festival. This free Halton Hills event transforms Dominion Gardens Park in Georgetown and Shelagh Law Parkette in Glen Williams with spectacular light displays, free hot chocolate, and visits from Santa. After the official lighting ceremony, the displays remain illuminated nightly from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. through January 12, creating perfect opportunities for evening strolls through twinkling winter wonderlands.

The following day, Christmas in the Glen transforms Glen Williams’ Main Street on December 7 from noon to 4:00 p.m. with 120+ vendors, a tree lighting ceremony at 3:30 p.m., and Santa visits.
