• Mohawk Inn and Conference Centre

When it first opened in 1967 in the hamlet of Campbellville, the Mohawk Inn was billed as the “first electric motel” in Ontario – an establishment with an early-Canadian colonial style and the comfort and convenience of all electric heating and cooling. Its objective was simple: to provide a restful atmosphere in which guests could relax and enjoy themselves.

For nearly five decades Mohawk Inn has been a favourite meeting place for locals and out-of-towenrs alike. A few things have changed over the years, but our mission remains the same – to maintain and enhance the Mohawk Inn’s reputation for top-notch hospitality.

Since coming under new ownership in 2012, the Inn and its adjoining Toronto West KOA campground have been refurbished, renovated and infused with a sense of modern comfort and community. Now host to yearly events and offering several attractive package getaways and clean, comfortable rooms, Mohawk Inn is both a gathering hub and a centrally located place to lay down a weary traveller’s head. The The Inn itself has recently changed inside and out with an eye to maintaining its rustic, cottage-like feel and the addition of an upscale-casual steak house and lounge. Likewise, the KOA grounds have had a complete makeover tailored to the young families of the local Milton area, GTA and beyond.

The Mohawk Inn and Conference Centre is conveniently located on more than 100 acres of woodland along Highway 401, just 15 minutes from downtown Milton (Canada’s fastest growing city!) and 30-60 minutes from several other major centres to the east and west. With 32 recently refreshed guest rooms, a new restaurant with locally sourced meals, spacious meeting and banquet facilities, access to a solar heated outdoor pool on the neighbouring KOA campground, a large treed lot and ample free parking, the Mohawk Inn provides the ultimate in guest-obsessed service with convenient access to all that Escarpment Country has to offer.

The Inn is next door to the Mohawk Racetrack & OLG Slots Casino and minutes from Halton Region’s seven conservation parks located on the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO–designated World Biosphere Reserve. With some of the best hiking, biking, snowboarding, cross-country and downhill skiing in the province, this Ontario Greenbelt regional area covers more than 7,000 acres of land and provides excellent recreational opportunities for sports and nature enthusiasts alike.
