Summit Station Dairy is a fourth-generation family farm that has been proudly serving the community for over 75 years. Founded in 1947 when Joe Loewith purchased 100 acres in Copetown, Ontario at the highest point along the railway line between Brantford and Hamilton, the dairy began with just 15 Holstein cows and has grown into one of Canada’s Top 10 Best Managed Dairy Herds. Today, Ben Loewith oversees the operation of 450 Holstein cows—all descended from those original 15—while his wife Jen serves as General Manager and their son Will represents the fourth generation working on the farm. Named after the historic “Summit” railway station that once brought local dairy farmers together to ship their fresh milk to downtown dairies, they continue that tradition of delivering farm-fresh, high-quality dairy products directly to families, combining decades of farming expertise with a deep commitment to excellence that earned them the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce’s Ironman Award in 2008.
