Creating believable shadows can be trickier than you might expect. In this workshop we will shine a spotlight on shadows, covering cast shadow, form shadow, and reflective light in shadows. This workshop is open to any level and any paint medium. Jeanette will be working in oils, but can speak to any paint medium. The morning will be used to demonstrate, explain, and answer any question on the subject matter, the afternoon is spent working on your own painting with personalized feedback. Please have a picture (your own) to paint from.

Note on subject matter: If you are working from a photo your own is always the best option: If it is something you took yourself, it will likely be something that you will like to paint… something spoke to you when you took the photo. Simple is good as this is a one-day workshop.
