Deeper your experience in nature with this botanical drawing class geared for students of all levels. Join Architect and Educator Sandra Iskandar to explore various techniques for sketching and painting the gestures and energy of specific trees in your journal through hands-on exercises that help simplify them while maintaining their individual characteristics. We’ll start indoors then take a walk-through Hendrie Park to practice the craft of deep observation, quick field sketching, and careful drawing techniques to understand the structure as well as the gestures of trees. In poor weather, this program will take place indoors in the Med Garden. Bring a stool for outdoor drawing. All levels welcome
