Discover all that Crawford Lake has to offer with a private one-hour tour. The tour will start at the Longhouse Village, where you will learn how the village was discovered, how the longhouses were reconstructed and even practice a traditional method of fire-starting—no matches or lighters needed! Afterward, we will head down to the lake, where you will find out what makes the rare meromictic lake so unique and what secrets are being hidden at the bottom, and then learn a bit about the plants, animals and insects that live in and around the lake. (Guests are reminded to bring masks, which will need to be worn indoors and when physical distancing is a challenge.)
Reservations are required (bookable 2 weeks in advance). Reserve your visit by calling or emailing.
