Self-guided Rafting & Tubing day-trip on relaxing section of the Grand, with dashes of small swifts to keep your interest piqued. Launch from the private dock at our historic 150 year old Outfitters shop in Paris-on-the Grand to begin your trip paddling past Paris’ historic riverside architecture. Leaving civilization behind you enter the rare Carolinian Forest zone. View amazing scenery plus Great Blue Herons, Ospreys, Mallard ducks, turtles & perhaps white-tailed deer along the riverbank with an occasional Bald Eagle. Stop to experience one of the cold springs flowin into the river. Approach quietly & you may spot a beaver or a muskrat as you float past Whiteman’s Creek. As you reach Brant Conservation Area, the river forms a 3km long lake. With little current in ‘the lake’ you can easily float back down to our Outfitters Landing at Brant Park.
