There is no charge for the tour itself, but our guides work very hard for tips, it’s how they are paid for their effort. Because you choose what you pay, you are guaranteed you’ll have a GREAT tour! A credit card is required at the time of booking only to secure your spot. However, a $10 “no-show” charge will be processed for any guest who books but does not show up for the tour. We are doing this to prevent fraudulent bookings and ensure our guides do not get stood up by guests they are expecting.

Starting outside Williams Fresh Cafe, this walking tour of Hamilton’s waterfront will give you an overview of the city’s relationship with Lake Ontario and the journey took from it’s early start as a port town to a massive industrial harbour and steel town and how it is now experiencing revitalization and new identity as a hip and happening place to live, work and play.
