If putting a couple thousand honey bees on your body sounds like a darn good time then we have something just for you.

In a short amount of time we can have 20000 bees hanging off of your chest and chin giving you that 5 o’clock shadow look.

This is a fair weather experience and will not be run during inclement weather – a rain date will be discussed and rebooked if needed.

What you can expect during the bee beard experience:

• Expect to be in the bee yard and around bees for 1-1.5 hours
• You can wear any clothes you wish, or we can help by providing a shirt that we have made ‘bee-resistant’
• We will have to put Vaseline on your skin (if that is a problem – other options can be discussed)
• The possibility of a sting or two – the number will be minimized
• Once the beard is on – this is your time – plan to have someone taking photos (feel free to bring props of your choice)
• Your clothes will smell of smoke (used to keep bees calm)

This is practically a ‘must do’ for new beekeepers and a good test for adrenaline junkies!

As preparation is involved,  this experience must be purchased ahead of time and we will not be able to offer it as a walk in experience.

Once booked we will mutually find a time and date that works for both you and the bees!
