James Watt Day

James Watt was a Scottish engineer whose improvements to steam technology changed the world and brought on the Industrial Revolution. Watt’s innovations paved the way for the 70-ton steam engines that operated the 1859 Hamilton Waterworks, on display at the museum. Help us celebrate his 284th birthday with free admission to the museum, and birthday cake (while supplies last)!
