    Lawren Harris Week in Brantford celebrates Brantford-born Group of Seven member Lawren S. Harris, and highlights the abundance of cultural assets in Brantford. The premiere annual celebration will include a week of free, participatory events, as well as the unveiling of a permanent piece of public art in downtown Brantford.

    About the Lawren Harris Movement
    The Lawren Harris Movement is a group of inspired citizens and culture organization members working to elevate the role of arts and culture in our community. Members of the Movement include Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, City of Brantford Arts & Culture, Dave Levac, Brant Theatre Workshops, Brant Historical Society, Paint-Club, and a number of Brantford’s creative citizens. The goal of the Movement is to elevate the profile of the abundance of cultural assets in Brantford through the a Lawren Harris Week with local celebrations annually, as well as a legacy piece of public art in downtown Brantford.
