Relax and let the little ones explore the farm’s play area featuring a straw maze, playground, sand pit, tire swings, pony rides, tractor rides and more.

Puddicombe Estate Farms and Winery is a place for the young and the young at heart. Pick-your-own apples, ride the farm train, visit the children’s village and petting zoo and find fresh baked goods at the Country Bakery with the little ones, or tour the winery estate complete with tastings and settle in for a farm-to-table dining experience at the Country Café. For a unique overnight experience, try their Caboose Farm Stay where you’ll sleep in a retired CNR caboose then awake to find breakfast items at your doorstep to cook up yourself.
Bronte Creek Provincial Park's Children’s Playbarn is a 150-year-old barn that has been transformed into a huge children's play loft for climbing and jumping.
Scotch Block Winery, a hidden gem nestled in an area of rich farmland, boasts delicious wines and breathtaking Niagara Escarpment views. Visitors can sample wonderful wines ranging from dry fruit and grape wines, to Icewine and dessert wines.

FALL FOR A FAIR
The Rockton World’s Fair has been a Thanksgiving tradition for over 160 years that attracts 50,000 people from all over the world for three days of traditional fall fair fun, including a demolition derby, midway rides and a spelling bee, as well as a pumpkin competition, a pie-making contest and horse-riding shows.
From midway games, rides and crunchy candy apples to tractor and truck pulls, demolition derbies, farm-animal petting areas and livestock shows, there’s fun for everyone at the fall fairs in Acton, Ancaster, Burford and Georgetown.
The St. George Applefest makes for a great day of festival fun. Enjoy good food, fresh produce, tons of unique shopping and ongoing entertainment. The little ones will love the petting zoo, pony rides and inflatable castle.
