• Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museums

Fieldcote is a cultural heritage centre with an emphasis on the collection, preservation and exhibition of local history, the promotion of fine arts and the celebration of natural heritage through beautiful landscaped gardens and walking trails. Adult workshops and children’s activities are available upon request. The site offers rotating exhibitions featuring art and history, a summer concert series, award-winning pesticide-free gardens and a meeting place for local garden, historical and cultural groups.

Admission
$3.50 for adults ages 18 to 59
$3 for seniors ages 60 and above
$3 for students ages13 to 17. Students must show valid student ID.
$2.50 for children ages 6 to 12
Infants who are five years old or younger visit for free
$10 for a family of two adults and unlimited dependent children under 18 years old

      Enjoy family movies under the stars every Friday evening in August. We invite you to bring a lawn chair or blanket, your own snacks and refreshments. Films will start around 9 pm and music will preceed the film.

      Limited parking available on site. Additional parking is available within close proximity of Fieldcote including the area behind Ryerson United Church.

      This is a free outdoor event. Donations of canned goods or other non-perishable items greatly accepted.

      In case of rain, films will be held at the Ancaster Old Town Hall, 310 Wilson Street East.

      About the film: Rated G. 92 minutes. Monsters, Inc. is a factory which sends monsters around the world to scare kids who are trying to sleep. It's nothing personal, in fact the screams are used to power Monstropolis where the monsters live. This job isn't easy for the monsters, who believe children are toxic.
