FirstOntario Centre (formerly Copps Coliseum) is one of North America’s premier entertainment venues, housing a variety of spectacular concert and sporting events each year. The arena serves as home to AHL team The Hamilton Bulldogs and Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club and has been the site of many great moments in hockey, having hosted the World Junior Hockey Championships, the Canada Cup and the Memorial Cup. Other sporting events held at the FirstOntario Centre have included the FIBA World Basketball Championship, the Legends of Tennis Classic, and a number of men’s and women’s curling tournaments. Sports entertainment organizations such as the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) and the Harlem Globetrotters have also held events at FirstOntario Centre.
