Bruce Trail

The Bruce Trail is Canada’s oldest and longest marked footpath which spans over 890 km along the Niagara Escarpment from Niagara to Tobermory.

Here in the Hamilton and Halton regions, the Bruce Trail weaves its way from Grimsby to Milton past brilliant waterfalls, dizzying cliffs, deep crevice caves and awe-inspiring views.

Accessible to explorers of all ages, the Bruce Trail can be explored in an afternoon stroll, a heart-pumping hike, or an End-to-End journey.

The Bruce Trail Conservancy is the non-profit charitable organization which not only cares for this public footpath, but is working to protect land along its route to ensure that the 40% of the route currently at risk is conserved for the future.
